Cairo, Ramadan 1, 1437, Jun 6, 2016, SPA -- The Speaker of the Arab Parliament Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Jarwan denounced the recent United Nations report, which accuses the Arab coalition's forces of targeting children in Yemen.
In a statement today, Al-Jarwan described the inclusion of agencies working for the legitimacy, civilian protection and reconstruction of Yemen on the so-called "black lists to kill children," as a denunciated, strange and unacceptable action, stressing that the United Nations list came contrary to all the facts and realities on the ground.
He drew attention that the world is commending the achievements of the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support the legitimacy of Yemen, protection of the Yemenis and defending them, their security and freedom against the brutal and aggressive party of Houthis and supporters of Saleh who have turned against the will of the Yemeni people and killed and terrorized Yemenis.
The Speaker of the Arab Parliament condemned the double standards with which the United Nations report dealt, and charging Arab Coalition with direct accusations, though everyone is witnessing that it has been carrying out a noble task towards the Yemeni people and fighting the insurgents and terrorists, as well as supporting and providing relief for Yemeni people, especially their children, in addition to rebuilding and reconstruction of Yemen, questioning where is this list from Israel, which is killing Palestinian children and burning them openly and publicly, and detaining and torturing them in prisons.
